Newly Qualified Drivers can build on their success with a Pass Plus course where the knowledge you already have will be challenged enabling you to experience a different way of looking at driving as well as reducing your insurance premiums. The “Corporate Manslaughter and Homicide Act 2007”, now mean’s that companies whose staff are involved in serious accidents could be liable for gross negligence. For any employee who drives a motor vehicle as part of their job description, that vehicle can be defined as their place of work and therefore subject to Health and Safety legislation. As an employer of people who drive a motor vehicle on a road as part of their job function, and in connection with your company business, you are duty-bound to provide professional driver training. Even if you don’t actually supply the vehicle they use the implications are the same. These laws will also apply to your drivers if they are self employed and operating their own vehicles.

Diamond Accredited Taxi Driver Training, all our trainers have achieved accreditation from the Driving Instructors Association by attending a “Taxi Driver Training” course. This course is recognised by a growing number of local authorities as the minimum standard taxi drivers need to reach. Training is targeted specifically at the special risks and challenges that face Taxi drivers while also ensuring their normal driving skills are as sharp and up to date as possible.

Fleet Awareness and Driver Development courses are a popular area of training we offer companies employing Car, PCV and LGV drivers. Minibus driver assessment and development courses or D1 training for anyone needing to drive a minibus but who passed the car test after 1997 is also available.

Theory Sessions or Defensive Driving Seminars can be arranged for large or small groups of participants designed to challenge outlook and encourage an alternative approach to driving risk assessment and hazard management. All trainers delivering this type of training are fully qualified with a Cert Ed in Adult Education.
